The new portal of the Historical Bibliography of Active Italian Volcanoes (BIBV) is online, the database focused on the activity of most of the Italian Quaternary volcanoes, created by the Institute of Geosciences and Georsources (IGG) of the CNR of Pisa in collaboration with the Library service. A brief description is provided in the Donations and special collections section of the library site. For more detailed information it is advisable to consult the portal directly.
