The AISA Prize for the master thesis on Open Science topics was awarded to Giorgio Bevilacqua, author of an interesting thesis on "The cataloguing of musical instruments between open knowledge and semantic web" which aroused much interest during its presentation. The author graduated from the University of Turin.
The finalist candidates were awarded during the IV AISA Conference on Open Science, Advertising and Democracy which was held in Cagliari from 8-9 November 2018. The programme and the presentations are available here.
No award could be given for the doctoral thesis, as the doctoral theses were generally not relevant to the subject.
