In 2014 and 2015, OCLC Research conducted an international survey on Linked Data ("ways of publishing structured data that can be linked together and then used through semantic queries"). OCLC Research repeated the survey in 2018. The latter analysis covers 104 projects from 81 institutions that publish and/or use Linked Data. The most significant change was the growth of Wikidata as a source of linked data from the 15th position in 2015 to the 5th position in 2018.
