On November 16, 2019, the "Sole 24Ore" published an article about the next VQR [Research Quality Assessment] and Open Access.

By 2020, the European Open Science Cloud will become effective. Italy is adapting beginning with the next VQR 2015/2019: only the scientific works published in "open repositories" will be evaluated (and awarded).
