During the conference "Berlin14 - Aligning strategies to enable Open Access", the delegates of the five continents strongly demanded the "end of the subscription system" and the "immediate transition to Open Access" in perfect harmony with Plan S.

It is reiterated that publishers are service providers and therefore the conditions of the service must be dictated by the payer, not vice versa.
