On January 30, 2019, from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., the “Open Science: new models of scientific communication and research evaluation" workshop was held in Cavallino (LE), in the Seminar Hall of the former Dominican Convent. It was organized by CEIT (Euro-Mediterranean Centre for Technological Innovation for Cultural and Environmental Heritage and Biomedicine), in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics and Physics and the Department of Humanities of the University of Salento, with CAFRE (Interdepartmental Centre for Upgrading, Training and Educational Research) of the University of Pisa, the Diffuso Museum of Cavallino Municipality, the Municipality of Cavallino and CLIOedu.

Among the guests: ANVUR, AISA, IOSSG e PLAN -S.

CLIOedu created the streaming to follow the workshop online; CLIOedu will also publish online the proceedings of the work.

On the morning of 29 January 2019, starting at 09:45 a.m. there was the event "Open Access: lights and shadows of Plan S" at the “Statale” University of Milan. 

In addition to the Rector Elio Franzini and to the deputy Rector and Rector for research strategies and policies, Maria Pia Abbracchio, there will be also Stefano Bianco (cOAlition S and INF), Colleen Campbell (OA2020 - Max Planck Gesellschaft), Emilio Clementi (Professor of Pharmacology - University of Milan and Editor in Chief, Pharmacological Research - IUPHAR), Fabrizio Andreatta (Professor of Algebra - University of Milan) and Michele Casi, member of the Council of PhD students of the “Statale” University of Milan.
